I've been trying to draw lately and I keep running into the same obstacles again and again. I simply haven't got the skill to do any justice to what I want to put onto the page. I keep coming back 'round to this and I keep having to face it. I'm a writer who can draw, not an artist who can write. I'm never going to do my simple stick-figure comics because they feel like a cop-out. But I'm never going to do my fully-rendered well-drawn comics because I don't want to show them until the art is good enough.

Now, I can focus on what I'm okay at and ignore what I'm good at, or I can start going back to my roots as a writer and stop fucking off with this drawing shit as an excuse for why I'm not pounding out the verbiage. From now on this is a writing only account. If you want to ditch because of a decided lack of boobs, I cannot and will not blame you. I'm going to try to keep my writing interesting and fun, but I can't guarantee that it's to everyone's tastes.

I'm a wordsmith; this is what I do. This is who I am. And I picked the worst possible time in history to do it, because nobody on the internet gives a shit about reading anymore. Which is hilarious because that's all they do all goddamn day. Anyway, the next thing out of me is wordage. Stick around if you want. Don't if you can't stomach it. You have been warned.
